I would like to nominate my cousin Sgt. First Class Rob Sammons (first one from the left), enlisting in the Army while still in High School - he was in the Reserves for 2 years, then decided to go active duty, and has been active for almost 16 years now.

Sgt. First Class Sammons loves his country, and loves serving his country. His wife Maura and son Sean live in Hinesville, GA - they miss him terribly, but support him completely.

Rob  is now serving in Iraq in Alpha Company, 3/7 Infantry, 4th Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division.  Because of his dedication and partriotism, along with all of the other many soldiers fighting and working overseas right now, we can live in a free country. I wanted to encourage everyone to continue to pray for our soldiers, for their families, for their safety, and for their quick return. Remember to thank them for their bravery and dedication.
